At Wildkin, we care about you and your child’s safety and wellbeing. That’s why we have every batch of fabric and every batch of accessories tested by a certified 3rd party testing facility to ensure that our products are durable, safe, and free of contaminants. Our products are tested in a variety of ways, including chemical testing, strength testing, and flammability testing. We test hundreds of samples per year to make certain that each of our products lives up to quality that we, and our customers, have come to rely upon and expect. We stand by our products. If you unhappy with your Wildkin product, or feel that you have received a defective unit, please let us know and we will take care of you. Please see product detail pages for specific warranty information. General Safety InfoAll Wildkin products are tested by a certified 3rd party laboratory testing facility. All products and accessories meet or exceed current safety standards as set forth by the Consumer Products Safety Information Act. All Wildkin products are completely free of BPA and Phthalates. All materials produced are tested for lead content. All Wildkin products are non-toxic and kid-friendly. None of our products contain loose pieces or removable parts that could pose a choking hazard for young children. All zippers are finger-friendly – they won’t bite. Backpacks & Messenger BagsAll Backpack and Messenger Bag fabric is subjected to strength testing to ensure that the material can support even the thickest Math textbook. Lunch Boxes and Lunch BagsAll Lunch Bag and Lunch Box liners are tested and approved for food-contact safety. All insulation material is non-toxic and food-safe. Sleeping Bags and Nap MatsEvery batch of fabric for Nap Mats and Sleeping Bags is tested for flammability to ensure that they are fire-resistant. All of our Sleeping Bags and Nap Mats conform to, or exceed, U.S. flammability test requirements for sleeping bags as set forth in CPAI-75. No flame-resistant chemicals are ever applied to our Nap Mats or Sleeping Bags. Although the shells of the bags do contain polyester, the way that the cotton and polyester are blended and weaved makes the bags naturally flame-resistant – meaning they have a slow “burn rate” and minimal “ease of ignition.” Water BottlesOur water bottles are crafted from high-quality, food-safe stainless steel.
